On the first day of going to college, I thought that this was going to be just like high school, just with a lot more people and harder classes. What I quickly found out that college is much different. College is a place to expand your horizons and grow in every way possible. One can grow not just academically, but as a person in many ways.
I'd say that I have grown a lot in the short time that I've been here. I have met a lot of people. Many of these people I have met are from a different background and even different countries. By learning about these people and becoming friends with them, It made me realize that we all share common goals. (Basically to pass the classes and not go crazy)
I have learned a lot over the semester. The biggest one is that I will continue to learn over the next 7 semesters that I will be here, mostly more complicated stuff. Another thing I learned is that I will continue to grow as a person over the next 4 years. I may know what I want to do now, but in a year or two, that could be totally different.
